Two men walking on the beach; after several attempts to begin
a conversation, they fall silent. Without speaking, they reach
a part of the beach with which the older of the two is obviously
familiar. Recollection, repetition – he sees something
on the horizon, takes the Kalashnikov, aims, shoots, is startled
by something, passes the weapon over to his companion. The
younger man also aims, fires a shot, then continues shooting
until the magazine is empty.
